Hotel Astoria - Balatonfured

This hotel is positioned perfectly in the heart of oldtown Balatonfured, with all the hotspots just a stone's throw away. We loved how close it was to the beautiful Lake Balaton, just a short walk from the hotel. The rooms were spacious and bright, with big windows that flooded the space with natural light. The comfortable beds and pillows ensured a good night's sleep.

No improvements needed, everything was just fine.

We stayed in the newer apartments, enjoyable. Best aspects: spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, fridge in room, bedroom on a higher level.

During my solo trip, I found a cozy hotel in a prime location, close to various restaurants and the lake. the spacious room was well, decorated, had a comfy bed and high, quality amenities. I appreciated the friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and the stunning view from my window. Room service exceeded my expectations, and the hotel even had a mini, fridge, which was ideal for a solo traveler like me.

The Wi, Fi connection was subpar at times, which made it challenging to stay connected.

The breakfast and dinner were nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, there was free parking right next to the hotel and the room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel was not very central. It took us at least 20 minutes to walk to the main attractions, which was a bit of a hassle. Additionally, the walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors talking and moving around throughout the night, which made it hard to sleep. it was an okay experience, but we were a bit disappointed with the location and noise level.

Great parking options and beautiful surroundings. the breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of delicious options such as fresh fruit and pastries. the room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We had an issue with the Wi-Fi in our room, it was very spotty and kept cutting out. the staff was not very helpful or attentive.
